DMCA & Copyright Policy
We respect the rights of Pokémon's creators and every other copyright owner. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, tell us and we will act quickly.
1. Our approach to copyright
Pokemon Fusion Generator is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project. Pokémon names, designs and official artwork belong to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company. The artwork comes from the community-runPokéAPI project and is served from this site as small, compressed copies so pages load quickly. Our fusion tools recolour it in the visitor's browser, and we do not sell fusions.
We respond to notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and to similar requests from rights holders in other countries.
2. How to send a DMCA notice
Email basit8225@gmail.com with the subject “DMCA notice”, or use our contact form. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on Pokemon Fusion Generator where the material appears, for example a tool page or image.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
3. What happens next
- We confirm receipt, normally within 2 business days.
- If the notice is complete, we remove or disable the material quickly, usually within 5 business days.
- If a notice is incomplete, we will ask for the missing details.
Official Pokémon art on this site is copied from the PokéAPI repository. If your request is about the source files themselves, you may also want to contact the PokéAPI sprites project. We will remove the copies from our site either way.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same email that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
We will forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
5. False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please make sure a notice is accurate before you send it.
6. Things that don't need a DMCA notice
- Images you load into the custom sprites tool never leave your browser, so we cannot see or remove them.
- Fusions other people create and post elsewhere, such as on social media, are controlled by those platforms. Please report them there.
- For a credit or link correction, simply email us. No formal notice is needed.
